"Hissing" From Control Panel - Jayco Greyhawk

My son and family have a 2015 Jayco Greyhawk. It was fine when they parked it at end of season last year. Son took it in for oil change and generator service at local Ford dealer and they installed new engine battery before first camping trip this year. He thinks they may also have changed out the auxiliary battery.

Well now he has a "hissing" sound coming from circuit board under his bed and the lights flicker occasionally and tv scrambles. He is trying to get it to dealer before our big campout in two weeks, but I am doubtful that will happen. And I am worried about chance of fire. This all happens when plugged into electric.

Any ideas?

Ford dealer should be able to change out main cranking battery w/o issue but it never hurts to check all of the connections are correct. Your son needs to verify whether they changed out the house battery or not. A ford dealer tech may not know there are several different connections on the house battery and in turn, there could be a loose wire/connection on the house battery. If all else fails, disconnect the house battery making sure the battery cable(s) are not touching anything to complete the circuit, and see if the "hissing" continues.

The inverter/converter may be making the hissing noise, but its hard to diagnose these things over the internet.
