Hole in black tank

Class c greyhawk.
One of the leaf spring bolts rubbed a hole in the bottom of our black tank. Anybody ever seen this?

Happen to me. I caught it before it rubbed through and had the dealer replace the tank under warranty.

I have a 2019 Jayco 29MVP and the bolt is rubbing against my black tank also. It's going in to the dealer this month for repair. Once again, sloppy work on Jayco's part. There was plenty of room to move the tank over an inch or more to avoid this issue. They could have reversed the bolt and solved it. Apparently basic quality control and common sense is lacking at Jayco.

When I was doing some other work under the RV, I checked ours, and it is rubbing also.
I will call for a warranty repair on Monday.

I too had the same problem in our 2108 Greyhawk, I was nervous as i was getting ready to head off for the weekend so i took the sawzall to the end of the bolt. I will mention it to the dealer when we go back for any service. But i figured they would hold us hostage for 6-8 weeks if it took it there, as our local Camping World is terrible. I would highly suggest that no one deal with my local Camping World they are a joke.

Here is a before and after

Had same problem in our new entegra esteem. Saw it on inspection when I had a problem with the jack not working and had it cut off at service in first month of ownership. Put some epoxy over wear area.

Enjoy the journey
