Hooked up house battery backwards

I wasn’t paying close enough attention and hooked up my house battery backwards. I blew the 3 fuses in the converter panel but I still have no power to the wall thermostat, the inverter or the dash radio/gps. Where may there be other fuses to these items?

There may be fuses in each unit or worst case they are fried. I did that once and had no problems except 4 reverse battery fuses in the converter.

I replaced them with indicator fuses.

Just to hitch hike and add to what Norty1 said, your inverter may also have a GFI that may need to be reset also, if it tripped.

Thanks for the answer. Found a blown fuse in the wall T-stat. Still haven’t found anything to the inverter or dash radio/gps. Still looking. Thanks again!

The fuse for the Inverter should be by the batteries and may be a fusible link. With that said are you sure you hooked those cables up correctly when you reinstalled the batteries since it is separate. May also be a reset button on the side or back of the inverter.

As to the radio/gps look behind the driver's side kick panel if it's a class "C", they have placed fuse holders back there.

Found both fuses in solenoid blown in the battery comp. they didn’t look blown but they were. 3 reverse polarity fuses in inverter were blown as well as one in each DVD player, one in wall T-stat, one under dash for leveling jacks.Still don’t have inverter working. Somebody kick me if I ever do that again.
