Hooking up to city water

When I hook the city water hose to the water inlet, turn the valve and I have water. I was reading my manual and it says I have to colose some valves, and open others. Looks kind of confusing to me. None of the valves are marked. Is it really necessary to do that. I have a water regulator, so I don't get excessive pressure. The pump doesn't come on when I open a valve for water because the line pressure keeps it from operating. What do you think? Stan

Sounds like everything is probably set up for City water at the moment.
The only thing you may have to check is to make sure water is going into your HW tank. If so, sounds like you're all set.

Stan - not sure what TT you have - but most (if not all) require no set-up changes when drawing water supply from city water to fresh water. Automatic check valves keep water flow contained. The manual valves you are referring to could relate to by-passing your Hot Water Heater for winterizing....The water pump is switch controlled and should only be turned on when when relying on water supplied by the fresh water tank.

If you need help figuring out the triple valves that control flow through your hot water heater....just shout.

Hope that helps

You will probably need to change the valve settings to either fill the fresh water tank, pump water out of the tank, winterize or sanitize the water lines. Which coach do you have?
