“Hot feet” for passengers in class c

Hello.
On our last trip to Florida we discovered that passenger side gets really hot and it forces you to lift your feet up or turn the AC on the floor.
Is there a quick fix for that?
Thanks in advance

On our 2016 31DS we had same issue.
Got some sound and heat reducing sheets from Amazon.
covered the whole inside of dog house and checked both temps
and sound with meter.
Some improvement.
Laid another layer on with triple layer on passenger side.
Big improvement
The sheets are 12X12 and easy to form and cut.
I bought a off brand which is foil on one side and thick sticky dense material
I also have a one piece carpet on the cab floor which I lined
underside with same material.
Big Improvement in Temps and volume.
Passenger and driver much happier now.

Jayco 24B,

There are several threads on this forum about that exact issue. I have the same problem on our 2018 29MV. I have added a layer of foil backed padding on the passenger side which helped somewhat, but not enough. Read the thread from Alvind about the 'cover' he purchased which fits over the exhaust pipe and keeps the heat from radiating into the passenger compartment.

I did the same first round that Katiedog did above. My results I would say are similar to hers; "some improvement".

I'll be back there for more, probably later this year. It's not so much the heat any more, but I'm trying to get a handle on the sound. It's just too dang loud up there for me....

My biggest issue is that I couldn't remove the driver seat. Passenger seat came out just fine, but I couldn't get to the mounting bolts on the driver's side. I was hot and absolutely exhausted by that point, so I didn't fight for it too much. Later when I go back in, I'll take out BOTH seats and really get in there...
