Hot water won't flow

Hello everyone,
It has been a while since I have posted on this forum, but I need some guidance today. I just brought out my 2011 31FS Greyhawk to de-winterize and sanitize the plumbing. For some reason I cannot get hot water to flow from any of the faucets or shower heads. If I put the hotwater in by-pass mode water will flow from the faucets, but now when it is out of the by-pass mode. There seems to be water in the hotwater heater because it shoots out if I remove the drain plug. I have this feeling I am just doing something simple wrong....but I just can't figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Dave

Sounds like one of the bypass valves is turned wrong or the tank isn't full yet.

I am pretty sure the by-pass is in the correct position.....the two horizontal lines in open position and the vertical line between them in the closed position. I have filled up the fresh water tank so I hope water went into the hotwater heater. This is driving me crazy (not that it was that long of a drive).

Very weird.... it will flow hot water if, and only if, I have the cold water running on a different faucet. Then hot water will slowly flow from the faucet. Turn off the cold water on another faucet and the hot water quits running. I just keep scratching my head.

Hoppers4, I don't think I have the outside showers on. What are you thinking here?

I was thinking if both shower valves were on and the shower head was off that funny things could happen to the flow of water.

Ok, I will check that out tomorrow. Starting to rain now and it's cold outside. I will see if anything is up with the outside shower tomorrow. Thanks.

It turns out that one of the bypass valves had gone bad and had to be replaced. You could turn the switch on the valve, but it was not actually moving the valve on the inside. Fixed now, and hot water aplenty.
