How is everybody closing the season?

Is anybody going camping to finish the season? If yes where?
We are always closing our season with 4 days at Normandy Farms in Foxborough Massachusetts. It is a Halloween weekend every weekend in October.

We just finished our (probably) last trip this year at Broken Bow, OK (Beaver Bend SP). It got down to 34 our 1st night, but warmed up every night after. We'll be cruising the Caribbean the week of Thanks Giving...so there's that! Don't have any reservations until June '20 in the Yellowstone area...although I'm sure we'll go somewhere between now & then.

Closing the season??? Here in AZ we are just beginning to enjoy the cooler weather. Going to Quartzsite for 4 days this weekend. Weather in the low 90's daytime; 60's overnight. Plan on flying our RC planes all weekend at the Quartzsite Desert Flyers field. Two weeks after that we will be at Lake Havasu State Park for a seaplane fly-in. Camping in Yuma mid November. Life is good.....

Our season starts NOW. It snowed last weekend here in Minnesota so we started loading the RV. Time to run for Arizona and Texas. We won’t come back until it’s time to cut grass. We spend about 5 months per year traveling.

Yeah keep rubbing it in! I'm already winterized. Maybe I should relocate, LOL.

We have our annual last weekend camp out with the club in November and then a few nights at Edisto Beach SP on the way home.

We always finish the year at James Island County Park with several rigs the last 4-5 days of the year and come home on New Years Day!

No closing here. I have 2 seasons here in Southern California:

Summer - camping at beachfront campgrounds, some hookup some not.

Winter - Glamis sand dunes, all dry camping

Just returned last week from a stay at Ventura Beach right on the ocean. I now have to get things ready for out first Glamis trip somewhere around Halloween.

Retirement is indeed fun!

We made our last camping trip to Lancaster, PA two weeks ago. I spent this past weekend winterizing the water system, washing the TT, roof treatment and covering the trailer. It's always a sad day when we put the cover on .

We're still camping. Snowed last weekend! Did a quick winterizing last weekend with compress air.

How about tricker treating in the park. We usually get a 200+ kids.

This my HTT.

We returned yesterday from our last trip, Egg Harbor, WI for their Pumpkin Patch festival. Cold, windy, but a great weekend. It's always bitter sweet leaving the camp ground on the last morning of the season. Cleaned the awning when we got home, next weekend clean out the trailer and winterize.

I am only about 40 mins form Normandy Farms It is a great place have done a lot of motorcycling in the Foxboro Forrest as well.

We wont winterize our rig for another month or so we still have a few events planned, and 98% of our camping is boon-docking so no camp grounds for us

Final week in northern Illinois. Two weeks with the kids. Next week is preps and then were on the slow trek to Harlingen Texas/Rio Grand Valley. Five hour travel times 6 days minimum. Can't wait for Claytons Beach Bar on South Padre island. Love the umbrella drinks. Winter? No more in 6-7 days.

A lot of us in Arizona keep going. Although last February we were caught in a not seen in over 20 years a snow storm that ran from 8" in Southern AZ to 24" in the North. In fact, the biggest flea market, Quartzsite, occurs the last two weeks of January. So, come on down.
