How to sanitize my tanks

I have a 2020 Redhawk 24 B, I only have a city water connection, with my last RV hummingbird I had a city water and a fresh water connection. How do I sanitize my fresh water? Is it the same as the city water? There is a screen, how do you add the bleach, vinegar or the solution I bought?

Look at your manual to find how to fill your fresh water tank. Probably a valve setting but I don't have that model.

Simple way to add bleach is to attach water hose to faucet, let a few feet drain out. Then just add the bleach volume you need to reach your desired concentration when full based on your tank size. I put in a few gallons, pull hose, drain a bit, add chlorox to hose and fill rest of way. After a few hours I pump the cholox water through the lines to the sink and shower.

I don't add chlorox to my how water heater but do rinse it out.

Many you tubes just search sanitize rv water tank and watch a couple

The procedure for sanitizing your Redhawk is on page 112 of your owner's manual. Here's a link to the manual if you don't have one: https://www.jayco.com/uploads/rvs/ma...%20OM%20BW.pdf
For your 42 gallon fresh water tank, you want to put about 3/4 cup of bleach in 3 gallons of water in a bucket. Then use the Sanitize Tank valve settings and your water pump to suck the solution from the bucket through a short hose into your water tank. Reconnect your water hose and fill the tank with fresh water. Make sure the water heater is set to bypass then use the pump (Normal valve setting) to fill all the water lines with bleach solution from the tank. After 4 hours of soaking, drain and flush the water tank and water lines. The manual link above spells out all the steps more completely.
