How to watch tv using the jensen jrv9000 system
We just got our new greyhawk 30x and didn't get the best walk thru. We have no idea how to watch tv using the jensen jrv9000 stereo system. No manuel for the stereo and the furrion tv manuel doesn't say either. Can anyone help me with that? thanks

Maybe it's in here:

I'll take a shot at it - perhaps the 9000 works the same as our Jensen JRV215.
1. Park the RV, engine off, parking brake on (just in case)
2. Plunk DVD into 9000 head unit. Hit "play"
3. Flip TV input to "AV"
See if you see video.
Audio is a bit of a pain for our unit, but I'd try that and see if you see a picture.
We do.

To play through house speakers set head unit to AV2.

There is so much to absorb during a "walk - thru", it is hard to remember even all that is spoken. We probably owned our Seneca for 3 months before I figured out I could pipe the TV sound through the stereo speakers.
Just take your time and try to learn something new about your unit each day. Have had our Seneca for 2 years and 40, 000 miles and still amazed at what I don't know. Enjoy the ride.

One way to strike up a conversion is to ask questions you have in person or on this forum of someone in a rig like yours. You never know what they have already learned and vice-versa.
We have 2-3 dear couple friends that we meet on rv forums and camping that we keep up with and often our travels meet and we are close enough to meet somewhere for a meal.
We have found that couples that camp a lot have very happy marriages because if you don't, being together that much will not be a happy marriage long. That makes for good friendships too!

Best advice I got was from a stranger we bumped into. He said - pull out your smartphone and take a movie, a video recording, of the entire PDI. If you've got a significant other, split the chore - one listens and re-enacts, the other records.

Absolutely, agree with this statement.

We have a 30x and was told couldn't use the dash system for watching movies on tv. Had extra DVD player so hooked it up behind tv. Only problem is that can't fast forward, pause because remote won't work through the tv. Otherwise, love the rv.

This might be more trouble and $$ than it's worth, but they make "IR (infrared) repeaters". Little boxes that'll repeat your remote control signals to equipment buried behind doors.
At home, I bury all of my gear behind wood doors. So I bought one to allow me to use all of the remotes.
