Yay! We bought a 2015 Redhawk 26' in 2018 that had 3k miles on it. The owners weren't comfortable driving it, so good deal for us! We LOVE it. I am, however, jealous of your second slide. Ours only has the living area slide and we have a "corner" bed we where have to crawl in and out.

Today we picked up it up from the Ford dealer we hired to replace our shocks. OMG best thing we've ever bought for it. If you can, up grade your shocks. They leave the factory shocks on the van. The sway and push from passing semis is gone and the ride is so much smoother. Very worth the expense.

Hey, ...I'd shack up for a night or two in that beautiful RV. But seriously, congratulations. I hope you enjoy your new rig for many years to come.

I'm going to go against the grain and suggest you *look* into the extended warranty.

But really dig into it, what's covered, what's not. Who does the repairs, where, etc.

Our 2016 Jayco has suffered from a number of very, very expensive failures. Some repairs I was able to do myself and paid only for parts. The hardest and most expensive one for us was having our generator self-destruct.

That was a $3500 hit.

I still enjoy the thing, but now I will admit that every damned time I get in it, I can't help but feel the dread of "I wonder what the h*ll will break today..."

May your motorhome be trouble and worry free.
But next one, I will look into extended warranties and not dismiss them out-of-hand.

I would post a photo but I cannot figure it out! I even talked with the previous owner and he said he "wrapped wires" and bout 6 cans of some sort of protectant for the undercarriage. He also said the furnace was replaced under warranty as they put in some faulty furnaces in that model. This thing is like brand new for 59,999. Strange this is that I am very good friends with the owner. He worked at a dealership in Rochester and sold me my toy hauler. I had no idea I was buying from him as he moved away! He offered me a 5 year warranty for $4200! Said if was "cost" or something. Should I get that?
Congrats!!...Keep in touch as we have the same exact one! Travel with the grands and love everything about it! But jealous of the leveling jacks....but looking into it! Maybe see you around?!

Hi A-GURL. Congrats on your purchase. We have the same year / model as you. We have the "same" photo as yours, taken after our purchase. Definitely a special day! Super happy with our purchase. I've had it for 1 1/2 years and I've taken it from Philly to San Diego and back, boondocked at Quartzsite, and have made a lot of North East trips. It now has 20,000 miles on and we've had zero problems with it. I did have a side window break but I don't think I can blame that on the RV. It's rolling the dice buying a warranty but from all the reviews about the XD that I've read, as well as the great input I've gotten from this web-site, I wouldn't buy a warranty. 5000 miles is probably enough time and mileage to weed out most problems. Hope you have as much fun with yours as we're having with ours!

How does the warranty apply on a motorhome between the cab and the coach? Are you issued a warranty card from Jayco that applies to both? Thinking about buying a Melbourne 24L but not sure how warranties apply to motorhomes. Thank you.

It's split. Chassis through that manufacturer, coach upgrades through Jayco. The dealer will give you both warranty info with all the other warranty documents when you buy.
