Installed Blue Ox, Air Force One today.

Hi all, well we took ownership of our 2020 Seneca 37HJ last week and installed the Blue Ox, Air Force One set up for towing. Brake lights, blinkers, flashers all work. On the way home from the shop my wife was following and noticed while I was towing our 2015 Jeep JK, the brake lights weren’t coming on but the rig lights were. I had the exhaust brake engaged, so when in goes down a hill the rig will brake and slow down without me braking, but when I use the brake peddle the rig and Jeep brake lights work. Is that normal or am I missing something? When using the exhaust brake on the rig, should the brake lights on the tow vehicle also light up with the rig when the exhaust brake engages?

There seems to be more and more separation of lighting circuits for towing. I know our 08 SENECA had a completely different set of wires for the 7 pin and even the brake controller had to be wired special, you couldn't use the feed from the brake pedal or you would eventually blow the brake light switch. Sounds like FREIGHLINER also separates the 7 pin from the main chassis wiring.
