When you originally posted the picture of the damage, my first thought was it would probably be around a $10k repair. Body work on these things is expensive, especially when you get into custom paint.

We also have National General (Good Sam) and had a major hail damage claim. They increased our rates ~30%. Even with that increase, their rates are still better than others.

I had National General with my previous Toy Hauler trailer and paid around $450 a year with the storage turn of feature. When I contacted them about my new Seneca they wanted around $2,600 while Progressive is just over $1,100. I guess Nat General did not want my business anymore.

That stinks but is unsurprising. Time to shop around (I got a reasonable deal from a Liberty Mutual unit, Safeco). I look to insurance to provide coverage for major catastrophes anyway and therefore expect to pay for stuff that happens below and slightly above my high deductible.

They say every year you should get at least 3 new quotes............Will definitely be doing that EVERY year from now on.
