Inverter

Hi Folks
I have 2016 Grayhawk that has 1000 watt inverter.
The Front TV is on inverter but not bedroom TV.
All the electric is under bed so it easy to get to.
So, has anyone added the bedroom TV 110 plug to Inverter?
Jayco customer service didn't have any hints but it is now done on
new Models.
BTW I have 2 Gel cell 27 batteries .
I am getting by using 25 ft extension cord to rear,
but must be a better way.
Thanks

Not sure if we have the same thing, but on our 2016 Greyhawk with the 1000 watt inverter, the plugs on the inverter were removed and the romex hardwired into it.

I wasn't looking to hook up the TV -- something else, but I didn't see an easy way to add a plug or electrical outlet to the inverter in ours.

I think it should already be hooked into the inverter. Ours is, we can watch tv in bedroom without generator on.

Ours is not - only the outlet behind the front TV is powered by the inverter.

I drag extension cords...

i have 2017 and both front TV and Bedroom TV are on the inverter. You can get to it under the bed if you need to and easily add an outlet on the side of the bed. There are outlets on the inverter itself as well you can plug an extension cord into it and run out from under the bed. but putting in an outlet on the side of the bed box is cleaner. I was thing of doing this so I could run phone charger. Also if you are crafty there is a usb charge port on the inverter as well you can run an extension out from under the bed to a usb plug for phone charging.

Cheers

Thanks for the replies.
The 2016 is not set up to power rear TV.
Seems I could Power the breaker that powers the Bedroom TV plug
if I had an idea which wire is which,
I will keep looking at Forum for help.

You really don't want to do that since it probably powers more than the bedroom tv. Best bet would be to add an outlet that is connected to the inverter circuit. Wire mold can be your friend for such projects.

Katiedog, did you ever get that rear tv hooked up? I think we have the exact model as you (2016 Greyhawk FK), and just want maybe one outlet in the front and one in the rear to work off the inverter. If you find out, please let us know.

Hi
I will post the Mod when when get it done.
I have several options, one is to simply add a
110 outlet and mount it on base of Bed.
The wires would go directly to output side of Inverter.
Still researching how to add a whole circuit.
Stand BY!!

Hi Folks
Getting back to our Post on The inverter not Powering the rear Bedroom TV.
Went a simple route, I cut the plug off a Power strip with USB and stripped
the wires back.
I attached the wires on the AC output terminals of Inverter
velcroed the power strip to the outside of bed base.
I can run a small extension cord to TV and charge phones ETC.
as needed.
Not a perfect solution but it works
The New 2018s have inverter power to bedroom TV through the circuit
breakers.
