I feel so puny! Omg, what a garage! That looks great.

Any building that makes a Seneca look small is one big building. Congrats to you and Mark on two sweet looking storage buildings.

4 hours to the southeast, across Alligator Alley, and you are here. Great county park to camp at, if you can get a reservation for that time. We can go to dinner by boat from my son's house in Ft. Lauderdale and can compare stories over something cold.

Thanks Paul. Haven't been able to put it in the house yet and we are heading your way next Thursday. May have to wait until we get back in October.

What size building is that? How high? how will you insulate and heat?

Thanks

The rafters are at 16' its 88'L and 50'D (6 14' bays). Just R-3 insulation in the roof, more or less to keep out condensation and no heat, so we will still have to winterize.

Mark, on my 2017 Seneca I turned the inverter off. I think I read somewhere it should be off if not in use. I turned my off because we never use it and it passes 120v through when hooked up to shore or generator.

Having owned our unit now going on 2 years, I do the same thing. Its off unless I need it. Twice we have lost power by an outside source our the wife popping a breaker and the inverter has added time to trying to figure out what is really going on.

We've used the inverter and think its a great asset, when you need it. I want to know when it is being used. Back about 2 years ago on this Forum, I asked the same question. Got lots of answers with lots of different recommendations. We use our generator a lot more than our inverter. Its just what works for us.

Glad you figured out your problem. Thanks for sharing.

I was leaving mine on until I found this. I have read the manual a couple of times and find new items all the time.
