Same Baggage Locks

My Redhawk has the universal 751 key for all baggage doors. There's another discussion going on in the Mods forum on changing out the baggage locks to match the door lock. Has a source for the locks to do so too, and at decent prices.

Yes, it would be so nice to have all the locks on the same tumbler. After we bought our new Seneca, and was handed all the keys, I felt like like a jailor because I had so many keys. A short time later we had a defective lock on a side compartment. Guess what? I got to add another key to the ring!

Is it just me?

On the 2017 Jay flights, and I bet other lineups, Jayco is finally keying the baggage doors and entry door locks the same. But the link provided is where I bought baggage door locks for my current trailer....

All of the bin locks on both of my Redhawks have been the same, and I believe that there only 3 or 4 different locks in total.

They are SUPPOSED to be all the same... perhaps your dealer will be nice and make them all the same for you. If not, call Jayco customer service and give them the two lock set numbers, and how many there are of each. I believe that they will send you what you need.

Our dealer just had to replace one of ours that was defective, and they had to get the new lock from Jayco, to make sure that it matched the others on the coach.

I think I will give that a try! It would be nice to have just a few keys on the ring!
