It fit in the bay...barely.

Been looking for a local place to do oil changes for my Greyhawk. After debate over who would drive it in and many measurements and checks, she fit in bay 2!Click image for larger version

The spare tire is a mount from e-trailer. It was a peace of mind addition before our long trip this past Thanksgiving. It made me feel better. I would prefer it not be angled like it is, but it was a store bought item. If I was to get a front mounted receiver hitch the angle may keep it from blocking air flow. Goofy looking, I know, but it works.

I went to every place in town and past all of them due to limited access or door size. This is the only place in my hometown that looked like it may work. We first had a debate over who was going to actually drive it in. They didn't want me hitting their building and I did not want an inexperienced teen driving my rig through the needle.

After measuring twice and lining it up, it cleared by 6" on one side and less then a foot on the other (dont forget your awening!) I stopped short of the A/C, but with some help holding the door up, it would clear by 2". But I think I will never have to go further than this. Strangley the local Ford dealer has the same sized doors.

Good news is, I have a good place near hoe to change oil.

My prides and joys are my 3 daughters and my DW. Changing the oil on a V-10 is pretty standard stuff. I trust these guys with my other cars, they were just as nervous as I was getting int othe bay. They did not want to damage it either.
