Jacks popping noise

I have a 2016 Jayco Seneca.
The jacks keep making a cracking noise, mostly when we make any move.

Do I have to replace the hydraulic fluid?

Do you mean they make this noise when they are extended and under pressure? Or when you are setting them? My units don't make any noise other than the hydraulic pump sound. If you are hearing noises I would check to be sure the bolts are tight and secure.

I have the same issue. If you google hydraulic jack popping noise there is a lot
of info and videos on the subject. From what I have learned its some kind of friction caused by the fluid under pressure. Cat makes an additive to reduce this friction although I have not yet tried it. Here is an ebay link to the product but it is sold elsewhere.

What you may be hearing is a noise that's caused by the weight of your coach might be because your jacks were lowered while your suspension was still aired up. Try running your engine to fill your air tanks before raising your jacks. then dump your air before you lower your jacks, you can do that by stepping on your brakes with the engine off.

My hydraulic fill tank is on the drivers side frame rail just before the rear axle. 2018.5 S2RV

I ask this question because I also have a 2018.5 S2RV chassis & I’ve located the tank but could barely get my hand between the cap & the upper frame rail. I called Lippert & they criticized Jayco for placing the tank there.

I’m just wondering if anyone has had any luck with drawing a quart of hydraulic fluid so you can add a quart of “anti-stiction”? And how they did it.

Your Seneca has Equilizer jack on it, not a LCI system. Most auto parts stores sell a cheap pump that screws right on the top of most oil bottles or the easiest to either remove or add oil is to buy a turkey blaster at the dollar store and if it’s still difficult to get in there add a piece of hose to the end of the baster....personally I use the oil pumps.
