Jayco 26Y Mods

Good morning all,

I was just toying with a few mods I'd like to do to my Jayco 26y. Was wondering if anyone has done it, thoughts, or if it's possible.

1. I'd like to turn the passenger chair into a rotating chair to add another seat in the cabin area.

2. I'd also like to mount a little island console in the center area, between the two chairs to set drinks on etc. We've found a little table that we can use, but i do like the idea of something more permanent that can match the counter-tops.

Anyone tried this? thoughts?!

Thanks!

Not a lot of 26Y owners here. It is a floor plan Jayco no longer builds. I expect because of the short queen bed. I’m 5’10” and my toes are at the bottom edge.
I have made some modifications to mine:
1. New floor covering. The OEM was ugly.
2. New shower door.
3. InstaTrim to cover gap around circumference of floor.
4. Replaced sofa bed with reclining leather theater seating
It can tow 7500 lbs and our Jeep Gladiator is around 5000 lbs. The Ford V-10 meets the task.
It is a 2020, but I bought it a year ago when demand was low and received very good price.
