Jayco quality/customer service.
Well, as i if needed it, here is another reason to stay away from Jayco products. I have been correcting Jayco problems/failures since i purchased my 2018 Greyhawk 29MV. They run the gamut, electrical 12v/110v, plumbing, cabinets, furniture, well you get the picture. I fixed most of it myself because i want to use the coach and not let it sit for months in repair shops,
I had several more problems after a recent 2500 mile trip.
I called Jayco customer service to get the schematics for my coach. 12v/110v and plumbing. I was able to get the electric schematics, but the 110 volt print is pretty much useless.
The Jayco rep, let's call him Biff, said they don't have the plumbing prints. Incredulously, l said, so what should i do he said you are going to have to figure that out yourself. Needless to say this P&*ed me off. He said an RV is not a car where everything is documented, and that he has worked in the industry for a long time and this the usual situation. I told him that was no excuse for not being able to assist a customer with a problem and he essentially said tough that's the way it is-no print. I said that can't be right the techs cant build the plumbing from memory every time they build a new coach - I think i answered my own question there.
The long and short of it is that their product is inferior and they are no help in trying to assist customers in fixing Jayco's crap. Quality will get worse with slammed production schedules due to backlogged orders, and Thor ownership of a formerly good company with decent products. Based on my experience with Jayco's let them eat cake attitude, stay away from Jayco.
