Jayco refrigerator on proaine

I was having trouble with my ref sometimes shutting off on propane. I cleaned the burner area. The burner was covered with a lot of crud. Now it's clean. Is it normal to be able to hear the flame burning. I also didn't pay much attention to the flame size, but now it is a nice blue flame about a inch long, and 3/4 in high. Is that size flame normal? Thanks

Yes, it is audible. Not loud but you can hear it. If the flame is blue with no orange it is good. Put screening on the access panel to keep the bugs out.

+1

I actually walk by the fridge vent and have a listen when we stop (I've had experiences with the flame going out) and it sounds like a really quiet jet engine. It's not really loud, but you can definitely hear it. If it's quiet, you can also hear it from inside our trailer. Also a great idea to have the screen on, I installed ours the day we bought our trailer.
