JBL Legend CP100 Radio Issues

Picked up my new 2017 Seneca 37FS but before I got home the radio quit working. Then three days later while setting in garage it worked again but not for long. Jayco sent me a replacement and it was installed and worked. Still think radio is poor. Now the question is that I turn the radio off but still hear faint static on the coach speakers. I have turned volume all the way down and also muted radio before turning it off but still static. Any ideas

What brand was the replacement? Early 2017 models had the JBL which is a piece of junk. The newer 2017 models have a Pioneer system. Is your replacement system a JBL or Pioneer?

Replaced with JBL. Yes this radio is worthless. Asked for Pioneer replacement but they sent JBL so it was strictly a plug & play replacement

Wow! and JBL used to be high end! I would be surprised if Pioneer was any better.

Suggest you search this forum...there have been several posts where owners were having CarPlay and camera problems with the JBL unit (it's actually made by Harman). I'm certain at least one of these owners had the unit replaced under warranty thru a dealer and the replacement was the Pioneer. The Pioneer is now standard in the 2017 Seneca (according to their web site). May want to ask Jayco why they sent you the JBL if it has been replaced with the Pioneer and has been prone to problems when installed in the Seneca. Good luck!

2017 radio

I just got my 2017 Seneca in early November and it has the Pioneer radio. I don't remember what radio my Greyhawk had, but it was a piece of $#@*! I had it replaced under warranty and the replacement was just as bad.

When I had to call Jayco for a second replacement they did not hesitate in sending me another radio. They told me that it would the Pioneer instead of the JBL this time. Apparently my Seneca was an early 2017 build & the JBL issues had not been discovered

It also came with a Pioneer Navigation add-on that integrates with the 4200NEX.

I have a new to me 2017 Precept 35S. Less than 2,000 miles.
Has the JBL. The radio worked on way home from dealer and now the screen flashes like it wants to turn on. Anyone advice on a fix or an easy plug and play replacement unit?
