I have a 2018 redhawk with that head unit. It has locked up 2 of the 3 times we used the unit. How hard is it to switch to the Sony unit and still use the dvd, the rear camera and music through the rv?
My JRV215 quit working in my Greyhawk. I emailed JAYCO, told them I could install it myself and they are sending me a JRV9000. After reading this thread, it seems that the 9000 isn't any better.

UPDATE... Spoke with Jensen, They need me to send them Unit, Proof of purchase and they are going to diagnose and most likely replace. Thanks for all the help!

Maybe persuade Jayco though your local dealer to swap Jensen with the Garmin RV-BBT601 that they installed in their 2018s or the Soundstream VRN-65HXB they are installing in their 2019s.
Does that Garmin 'see' all three cameras? that would be nice to be able to replace the JVC unit. Not overjoyed with its interface and menus.
