Jenson radio ????

I have the Jenson Radio/Nav in my 2018 Red hawk
How in the heck do you mute the guy that tells you you're speeding?
I can not figure out how to delete or mute this feature, I'll be listening to the radio and then it mutes, and I can barley here a narrator saying something about speed.
Very Annoying any help appreciated

I found this on Amazon questions. "In the Nav mode select the tools icon.
Then select Sounds and Warnings.
Next page down and select Speed Warning Settings
Now you can turn off "Warn when speeding" or set the limit percentage."

If you have the Jensen JRV215N head unit, it's on page 86 of the Nav manual.

With the crappy quality of most Jensen electronics, I just imagine their GPS is some old guy sitting next to you with the last paper road map that Texaco printed telling you directions and where to turn.

Another option is to simply slow down.

Thanks Guys I hardly ever speed in Motorhome Usually this happens in town where I may only be a couple mph over the limit.

Your presumption here is that the "thing" is correct regarding the speed limits on the roads you travel when it mouths off to you a hundred times a trip.

It is not. Mine is wrong much of the time and it's very annoying.

Oh man, good advice! The first time I heard 'him' tell me I was exceeding the speed limit, I almost wrecked. Totally surprised, however I kind of appreciate the reminder, not that I am flat footing it much in a 32 foot vehicle.

I've noticed that too.
Around here it was way off, sometimes 15mph below the posted.

I thought it would be a great idea to have it, but (like the side cameras) after using it for awhile, it's not worth it to me. So I turned it off.

LOL! I'll remember this the next time I push "Input" button on my crappy Jensen only to have the station change or watch it perform some other random function.

You can turn it off (on mine anyway) by going to your NAV screen, find Settings (sometimes the 4 horizontal bars), select Warnings and then turn off Speed Warnings. Choices on mine are OFF, Visual, or Audio and Visual. I like it OFF.

But I DO like the Colt 45 version and sounds easier, just concerned about my radiator.

Jensen leaves a lot to be desired in their product - very disappointed with the lack of quality products that Jayco puts in their " TOP OF THE LINE " Seneca's
