Just got 2015 Seneca RB

Just picked up my new 2015 Seneca RB and have been reading the comments on this thread about the Seneca's. Planning a maiden trip in about 2 1/2 weeks down to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend the ACC basketball tournament(About 9 hours each way). Any suggestions on what I should look out for with potential Seneca issues. Also, does anyone out there know what color wire I need to cut to the front TV so it works while I am going down the road?

Welcome

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase. There is a lot of helpful information here and I've seen several references to the tv. Do a search on the issue and you should find it.
I'm picking up a new Seneca HJ in a couple of weeks.

Had a 2013 Greyhawk for 2 years and now the Seneca RB. Haven't gotten my courage up to tow a vehicle yet. Maybe this year!!

Congratulations on the Seneca - we love ours. Regarding the TV - remove the outlet that the TV is plugged into and it should be obvious which wire to cut - the one going to the solenoid glued to the back of the outlet. I cut mine and put a wire cap on the feeder.

The issues we've had so far are:
- Stripped the gears in the step motor by being impatient and not waiting for them to fully deploy before stepping on them. Stupid, stupid

- Some sort of adhesive tape on the upper corner of the main slide attached itself to the "sweeper" seal (rubber seal going around the perimeter of the slide opening) and started pulling the seal outside. Had to have the seal replaced by the dealer.

- Main slide was dragging on the floor and scratching it. Required minor adjustment and replacement of a couple of floor tiles.

We tow a 2014 Honda CR-V and it does great. Enjoy your new coach!

Our 2015 TS had tile damage from the large slide when we picked it up at the dealer. They replaced the tiles, check slide alignment, and gave us a couple of hard plastic slide runners to put on the floor when we close the slide. We just put them behind the TV unit in the entertainment center when the slide is deployed.
