Not a GreyHawk, but a Seneca and the instructions for the lock are on the back of the electric lock. We find they eat batteries and really don't use it.

Yeah, you have to take the cover off of the battery compartment for the programming instructions. We bought our 29mv in February and I'm on my third set of batteries. I really like not having to carry my keys to get in but replacing the batteries every couple of months is a bit silly.

Are you sure it's not the switch for the dinette that's busted? Seems a little strange to have them crap out so soon and both of them at the same time. I've found a couple of bad crimps here and there on rig. The water pump switch in the bathroom quit and I found a bad crimp on one of the wires behind it.

You can remove the cover on the light by twisting the glass a bit counterclockwise and it'll drop off. That is if it's the same frosted glass led lights that I have.

Yea, we too are having those light issues (2015 Greyhawk MV) over the dinette. In our case it is a slow death (individual leds in array are going out) causing overall light to dim. I understand if you call Jayco, they will send replacements if under warranty. As to how... I will tackle that in the spring when MH is out of storage.

I've found that my keyless entry simply looses its programing code as opposed to batteries failing. You might try re-programming to see if it will accept your code. I have had to do that several times when it quits working.

Somewhere along the timeline Jayco went from a wired (use house batts) to battery in lock type. It was supposed to fix some problems. I use the key.

I had a bit of a fight to program our lock on a Seneca 37HJ as there was no manual, and the instructions on the back of the battery compartment did not work. A bit of sleuthing pointed me in the right direction, and I found that if I removed the batteries for 10 seconds or so and re-inserted them, the instructions on the back of the unit worked fine.

Background: The instructions on the back made no sense to me since they did not require I enter the current code in any way, but when I saw someone talk about resetting to default (which was a different code than what my unit had), I put 2+2 together, and got it working. Basically the reset only works if you are currently running the default code, which the reset ensures.

Word to the wise, if you have your door unlocked, and see a friend who likes practical jokes lurking near your door with a philips head screwdriver, keep an eye on them

Actually, some don't have batteries. They are hard wired. If you have one of those, you are one of the lucky ones!

Our keyless entry was also giving us problems. Had to push some buttons harder, worked sporadically. Have our rig at the factory right now for several issues. All taken care of and waiting for us to pick up. They just changed out the whole keyless entry with a new one.

I have not had any problems with our keyless entry (2016 29 MV). I put good quality long lasting batteries in it when I first set the code. We use it many times a day when camping or at home when we load or unload stuff. Maybe better batteries maintain the correct voltage for a longer period of time?
