Keyless entry for Jayco Redhawk

Our last 5th wheel had a keyless entry with touch pad that we loved, but in our new Redhawk we have to carry a key. The parts man at our dealership said it's no problem to replace the entry handle with a keyless one, so I ordered the AP 013-509 Electric Travel Trailer Lock that he said would work. Just tried to install it and there's no way it even begins fit in our door. I called and talked to the Parts man who was very surprised it didn't work. He's going to do some checking and try to find out from Jayco, but I wondered if anyone here has added an aftermarket Keyless entry to a 26 ft. Redhawk.

We're having the Viper cab keyless entry added by Best Buy (199.00 installed) (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/viper-31...99212600050006). However we were told by our RV dealer that we couldn't add it to the motorhome as it wasn't pre-wired for it (with the lock solenoid).
