Kicking tires on 2015 Grayhawk 31FS

Not me, but a family member. Has 28k miles on it. Any issues with the 31fs series we should be looking out for? I did find a thread about the shower pan support being cut too much from factory so I'll keep that in mind. Anything else?

Thanks in advance,

All of the usual warnings apply. Water is the #1 enemy check everywhere for signs.

Be wary of road wander at highway speeds. It can be fixed with a good alignment (which sets the caster at +5.5 degrees) but not with the "tweak the toe and we are good to go" type of cheapo alignment.

I owned a 2017 31FS but recently sold it. It was a good rig. One thing to check is the fiberglass roof(if it has one). Actually walk both sides of the roof and pay particular attention to the area where the fiberglass curves over both sides. Make sure there are no cracks in that area. If that area gets stepped on, even once, it cracks. Look closely cause the cracks can be hard to see.
The issue with the shower pan is it needs more supports. The supports are just 2 by 2's stood upright and all that needs to be done is add a few more.
Next sit down in the dinette. If your butt sinks down to the wood it will need new upgraded foam. Mine did. Maybe it was better in 2014 I don't know.
Make sure the slides work well, and look for any damage along the inside slide edges. Damage can happen if they close a slide and a shoe is on the floor etc.
Good luck with it.
