On my Hummingbird the shower pan supports were about 1/4 inch short. I used shims and gorilla glue to harden it. I used a scissor jack to lift it a tad then pushed the shims in tight.

Fixed it! Thanks for all your help.Click image for larger version

Looks good!! I bet it wasn't much fun trying work through the small access hole, was it? Plus, kneeing down and trying to reach in...

That's why I just cut a bigger hole and made a new cover plate.

What did you use for your cover plate?

1/8" luan plywood, the same stuff the original was made of. Like I mentioned above, I contacted Jayco, explained to them what I had to fix and emailed pictures, thinking they would be nice and send me a section of the wall covering material for having to deal with and fix THEIR issues.

They just blew me off, and told me to contact my dealer (who been useless, so far). That's Jayco customer service...

I laid on my stomach and worked that way, haha tight spot, but I knew if I cut a bigger hole it would look like crap as I am not a carpenter. so the landscape supports are not the best but, I won't step on the drain anymore.

Our shower drain broke too and there is water in the metal pan down below. Does anyone know what that metal pan is for? Can I drill a hole to get the water out.

I am now a member of this club. My shower drain also popped off. I was able to snap the nut back on and reassemble the drain.
Anybody find a easy way to reinforce the spongy shower floor?

I cut small pieces of the Harbor Freight interlocking foot cushion and wedged it between the floor and p-trap. So far so good...

Is this repair done underneath the camper, or inside the camper below the shower?

I have a 2005 Jayco Greyhawk, and my shower has flimsy support. I would like to make this modification as well.
