Leak under shower when connected to city

Good evening
I have a 2020 jayco class c 26m on 450 chassis
With the 7.3 v8 Godzilla motor
Over all it is doing well.

My issue,
I have a leak under the shower pan.
It leaks when connected to city water
When pressurized with the water pump.

Question- how do I get access to the plumbing
Under the shower pan?
The provided access door is much to small.
Thanks

I think mine is leaking behind wall at faucet and running out under pan. Taking it to dealer next week because it is one month old. On mine the faucets pull out into shower. I would check that first.

I don't know the specifics of your model, but leaks under the pan is a very, very common lament here. Seems to affect many models over many years. Jayco needs their Chief Plumber to visit these threads.

Most seem to say that the drain pipe connection fails, someplace. Re-tighten or replace. That there's insufficient support over the entire pan. Things flex and the couplings fail.

Access? Ours has a very small access panel on the floor, under the shower door. The forum fixes often include putting support to stiffen the entire pan. Then tackling the plumbing.

Besides the trap under the pan, the other likely leak spot will be the threaded connection to the back of the mixer. It's a pain to release from the wall but the only alternative source of a leak would be a line burst behind the shower, which is a tear out of the whole shower unit to locate and repair.

I thought mine was leaking under the pan but after additional observation I found that the channel for the shower door would fill up and then drip down the side. Might have been worse when I wasn’t 100% level. I applied silicon, it didn’t stop. Still convinced it was the door, I dug out the old silicon, cleaned well and put in double the silicon make sure it had good contact.
Hasn’t leaked since then.

With that said, I agree, check connections at the valve first, drain connection and then the door. If it’s only when connected to city water, try adjusting your water pressure regulator down a bit. Less pressure may reduce leaking.

Got to stop it, damage to the floor may have already happened.
