Leather Deteriorating

When we purchased our 2010 Jayco Melbourne 29D three years ago the faux leather was in excellent condition. Now the couch, passenger seat and trim around the dinette seat are peeling. It appears to be drying and getting brittle. The RV is kept inside when not in use so it’s rarely in the sun. Has anyone else experienced this on their leather? Is there a solution that could be applied to lubricate and stop the peeling?

Peeling leather

I have a 2012 Jayco Seneca and all seats are peeling drivers, passanger, dinette, couch and swivel seat. Had one dinette cushion repaired by dealer, cost was 1200 Canadian. Is jayco doing anything about this?

We recently traded our Jayco Melbourne 29D in on a Forest River FR3. When the dealer saw the peeling faux leather he told us that Flexsteel had this peeling issue with RV furniture between 2008-20012.

It would be Flex Steel since they are the manufacturer and warranted by them.
