Leveling Jack wouldn't retract

Yesterday as I was preparing to leave camp, the left rear leveling jack on my Grayhawk Prestige 30xp failed to retract. The Lipert leveling panel displayed "low voltage." The ignition was on, parking brake set and the engine running, but I had to start the generator and wait a few minutes for the coach battery to recharge sufficiently to retract the leveling jacks. The leveling system still showed all jacks as "up", and I had to extend them and then retract them to get the left rear jack to retract.

I guess I'm confused about the power source for the levelers. Is it just the coach battery? I had always assumed the levelers were powered by the engine since the engine had to be running for them to work. Will the levelers not work properly if the coach battery is low? If the coach battery is low, will turning on the generator power the levelers? All very confusing.

On mine - yes. The levelers are connected directly to the house battery with very thick cables,

Yes, anything that charges the house battery will help send volts/amps to the levelers. Running the engine and/or the generator both send more power to the house battery on mine.

As does plugging in. At least this is the case for mine.

Recently, when I had leveler problems, the ground lug that grounds to the frame had come loose. This also appears to be a very common problem.

I've got a 2020 Greyhawk Prestige 30XP and was having same problem. Took it to dealer and they replaced the battery under warranty. If it was running, parking brake set I had same problem. I never tried it on the generator but if plugged into shore power, it worked fine. Seems any issue related to the battery causes this problem.
