You may need to have the leveling system recalibrated. I had to have it done on my Greyhawk DS after the dealer removed some shims on the helper springs on the drivers side that were causing the springs to hit the water tank. Not sure the brand you have on your Seneca, mine were factory installed Big Foots.

As Troy M said if you have the "automatic" system it may need to be recalibrated. I have the Power Gear semi automatic and it levels the coach just fine, but I wish JAYCO had used the BigFoot system in 08. If you bought coach used and do not have the owners manual they are available on line for both companies.

If it is the Power Gear semi automatic you may just be low on fluid if you are having trouble on level ground or it too may need a "tweak" in the calibration. With that said however, remember the owners manual definitely says "DO NOT LIFT THE TIRES OFF THE GROUND". If you are on a site, that un-level, you are supposed to pull up on blocks and then do the final leveling with the jacks, you will probably need blocks under the jacks as well. We have only had to do that twice in the 4 1/2 years we have used the coach. (39,000 miles North, South, East & West)

I have the power gear unit.We use it to travel the GNCC series. Most of the track we go to are not to level.I have tried blocks under the jacks as high as 6 of them it makes the same noise.Fluid is good it like they are not strong enough. Also tried pulling up on blocks to level and under jacks same problem. The main reason they tell you to not lift the tires off the ground is in case you lift the rears off the ground on a incline. No BRAKES then unless you have chock the front!!!!!!!!

Just one more question. Have you tried it with the engine running? As I stated I'm having no problem with mine and and I can lift the front axle off the ground. I have not heard any complaints from the many SENECA owners on the Kodiak Chassis forum on Yahoo either. You may then very well have a bad pump or a stuck valve.. ???

Don't feel bad, my system is acting up since the dealer recalibrate it. Now it will only level in my driveway and in the storage building. It won't level automatically at campgrounds on pads. Ive been on night shift since the beginning of February so haven't had a chance to mess with it and call the manufacture to get some help. Hopefully night shift is coming to an end soon and I can actually get something done.

If it is a Power Gear you are out of luck as they are too exclusive to talk to lowly customers. Their phone# just tells you to see a dealer. They also do not respond to emails. If you can get to someone in their tech dept., please post how you did it as there have been numerous threads of people trying to contact them on other forums also.
Good Luck
