Light up your class C camper?

Hello,

Is there a way to light up your class c MH drawing power from your house batteries?

I know there is a LIGHTSWITCH for trailers that plugs in to the 7 pin connector.

Why can't you just flip the toggle switch when you come in the door on the left? All the internal lights are already 12 volt.

Sorry I don't think I was too clear. Actually I was thinking about all the outside lights, parking lights, side markers, clearance lights etc.

OK, so why can't you just turn your headlight switch to "parking lights" position, and they'll all come on from the chassis battery?

If you're looking to leave them on for an extended period, then installing a Trik-L-Charge will recharge your chassis battery from your house batteries when you're plugged into shore power or running the genny.

You might have to use the heavier duty version Amp-L-Start which is good for 15 amps.

You can also upgrade your battery isolation manager to one similar to what the Seneca uses. This allows the chassis batteries to get charged from the converter on the house side. If I was going to do this I would also replace all the bulbs with led if they are not already. That would be a huge energy savings and significantly reduce the drain on the system.
