2009 jayco 31ss how do I get the lightbulb out of the overhead light?
Want to replace with led lights

I don't have that model, most have a little slot in side to pry out the lens. Many have bulbs that have bases that are sold with LED instead of filaments. Post a pic plus any info. Some you just squeeze and the cover pops off.
Or you can replace the whole fixture with a built in LED.
Note, when you buy your LED watch for color temperature. Comes blue white glare, bright white, warm white, etc. Lower the number, closer to warm/yellow light we are used to. Those blue white and bright white hurt my eyes.
I like 3000K (kelvin) brightness.

Have cover off lightbulb looks like it plugs in but not coming out.
Just wondering if there's a trick to get it out

Post a close up of the bulb for best advice and brand of fixture if you can find it.


Most of the bulbs I have seen either have a round base with a little post sticking out to lock it in place or a flat glass base with 2 wires running into the base. For the round one push in an eight of and inch or so and turn, then it should come out. For flat glass base, wiggle and pull. Wear gloves in case either one breaks.

Both may be stuck due to corrosion and require a little wiggle, push, pull and repeat. But a picture would be best!
