Lippert Control Panel has NO POWER

2018 Jayco Greyhawk 29MVP
We have owned since it was new.

Arrived at location and left ignition on and applied emergency brake as always. Pushed power button control panel levelers. NOTHING. No Power.

What I have done.

Inspected 15 amp fuse near hydraulic pump - It is ok
Looked at Lippert power control in the same outside compartment as 30 amp. -- No issues noted
Inspected fuse under the dash under the steering column. No issues.

Any ideas?

Do you have a meter to check voltage

This happened to me one time on a trip. I The fuse under the dash "looked ok"; I didn't have a meter to test it. But when I popped in a new fuse the system worked.

Not until mid week when we arrive back home.

The coach battery is ok as there was a friend at the RV park who checked it

Mine failed when I was getting ready to break camp with the levelers in the down position. I swapped in a fuse from the engine compartment just to give it a shot and it confirmed that the fuse was bad even though visually it looked ok (wire looked fine, no dark spot).

Many threads on the forum with the same issue. The numeral uno cause for this condition is that the ground wire to the frame for the hydraulic pump motor has broken. Without the ground at that point, the control panel will not power up. Most of the time it seems it is broken at the frame, but the connection to the motor pump also fails. Replace both ends if this is your problem

The ground by the pump was my problem, too. It is definitely the most common cause. But I think the control panel gets it's 12V power from one of the fuses on the battery disconnect solenoid so check both of those, too.

I would call Lippert support and have them go through troubleshooting. I have had to call them a couple times and they have always been extremely helpful and saved me time. I was helping a friend with a dead panel and lippert walked me through the process in about 10 minutes....found a fuse that he didn't know he had and it was blown.

Same thing happened to me on 29MV. It turns out I bumped a connection point in the top of the electrical cord bay and the wiring harness had disconnected. I plugged it back in and levelers worked good. Hope this helps!
