Lithium Batteries

Do you guys know if any of the newest Class C's already have lithium batteries installed as a standard feature? Are they only optional at this point?



I'm still researching Class C's at this point, never owned one before. Planning on purchasing Spring 2022.

Doubt it, spec just says 12v house battery. I think they would "brag" if they were Lithium.

My 2021 Entegra Odyssey 31F only came with one 12v lead acid battery. I'm researching to replace the lead acid with a lithium. We are about to go into desert season, which means a lot of boondock camping.

I am not aware of any coming pre-installed in new RV's. Our 2021 Greyhawk came with a single 12v and the previous owner added a second, parallel 12v battery in the house bay.

My dream is to upgrade to a single 200 or 300 Ah LiFePO4 and throw a 200w solar panel on top for kicks. But unless they wind up in a stocking over our fireplace this December, that's just a dream.

I just got a 2022 Seneca with 4x 6vdc 266 amp agm batteries. They are going away and being replaced with 2x 12vdc 206 amp SOK lithium. Also a huge weight reduction.

So far have not seen lithium as standard. Price is starting to drop though. Seeing some coming with solar panels though.

The only Class C's with lithium that I have seen are from Dynamax. The Isata 5 have the explorer package available in which lithium is standard.
