Location of inverter in 30z

I have a 2021 Grayhawk 30z and have searched for the inverter. I found the transfer switch, slide controller, charger "Wizard", water pump, etc. But I can't find the inverter. It was not located behind any of the access panels. Maybe buried under a cabinet? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What makes you think you have an Inverter? Specs call for a 60 amp Converter.

It is located behind or under the 120-volt/12-volt power box.

Since it's a Greyhawk, it most likely does have an inverter.

One way to locate it would be to have someone turn it on while you listen. It *should* beep when turned on.

I'm surprised you didn't find it near the converter and all of that "stuff". Mine is right in there with the fuse panel, the breaker panel, converter, transfer switch, etc. All thrown sloppily under the foot of the bed. But I have a different floorplan than OP.

You could always trace wires from your breaker panel and find it that way?

I'd be more inclined to just turn EVERYTHING off (so it's as quiet in the rig as possible), have someone stand there and activate the switch and listen very carefully for the beep. Of course, that assumes it's actually working, which may be why you're looking for it in the first place?

It's part of the "Customer Value Package". That "option package" is mandatory on Greyhawks.

^^^ What he said.. Customer Value packages are always required on JAYCO units even though marked as an option. There are other manufacturers who do the exact same thing... Why? Who knows..

Right? If they're going to make it a "mandatory option package", then why not just make it "standard"? Just silly IMHO.

I can confirm that all the items listed in the "Customer Value Package" came with my 2020 Greyhawk, with the exception of the Sony infotainment centre (new for 2021). I was advised by the dealer that while it states "Options", there is no way to order without that package.
I know there is an inverter, as several of the AC outlets are 'hot' when the inverter is turned on, controlled by a switch just inside the door.

I tried to in Post #4.

Perhaps someone with a 30Z can chime in and answer definitively?

Yeah, I'm still looking. And yes, I have the inverter option installed. I'll turn everything off and listen for the sound of it turning on. It's buried in there somewhere. Thank you.

I think I walked thru a 30z and my recollection was that it had a similar layout to our 2016 31FK. However that could be a faulty recollection...

Ours is under the bed in the rats nest of wires.
The ATS, the Converter, the Inverter and lots of 12g and 14g wire are there.

I finally found the inverter in our 30z. It's under the bottom cabinet shelf left of the sink/vanity. You have to remove 5 screws and there is the inverter screwed to the floor. I cleaned up some of the duct work while I had the shelf off. Hope this helps someone.

That's great, thanks. That will put it relatively close to the house batteries for upgrades.

Seems floor plans determine where stuff is put. One post on a forum guy found his under the bedroom closet.

Yeah, the way they build these rigs is random. Under my bedroom closet I have the transfer switch, slide controllers and the charger Wizard.
