Locked codes on Melbourne 24 K

HI all,

Went to Savannah from Chattanooga Tn. On the way back we had several codes come up.

Took it to a local reputable repair facility. They state that that several of the codes "were locked" and would need to take to a Mercedes service repair shop if they come back to get it checked.

I know this is a pretty specific regional question but, I'm thinking Atlanta, Knoxville or Nashville are the closest places. No Sprinter repair locally.

Isn't there a sprinter forum?

Any thoughts....or just get the "phone book out". I don't think we still have one of those things. You know what I mean.

As always,
thanks,

David7

Don't know the region. I got a couple of codes that were related to exhaust recirculation issues right after I got my Melbourne 24LP last spring. I had to look them up.
This is in Nashville https://www.mercedesbenzofnashville....shville-tn.htm. But I put some screen shots up from all three towns that might be helpful. Hopefully someone knows one of these shops and can recommend.
I did these fairly quickly - hope there's some help here. Best and happy new year.

I can get the generic codes with some details on a $250 scanner but to get more details you need a more expensive scanner. There are independent shops who have a dealer level scanner, but they are not on every corner like other brand vehicles. You want to find a shop who specializes in Sprinters or who are familiar with them.

There is a Sprinter forum https://sprinter-source.com/forums/index.php

Here is a link to the forums database of dealers and independent shops. It is not complete but a start.
