Magnum Inverter/Charger installation

Good morning, I’m planning to install a Magnum Energy ME-2012 into my 2010 Greyhawk 31FK. I have an IOTA converter and a Xantrex 400w Inverter on-board now so my question is: 1. Do I simply disconnect these and follow the 2012’s instructions? They instruct me to run the AC from the transfer switch to the 2012’s AC “in” then back out to the distribution Center AC side. Next I connect my batteries to the 2012 and I’m golden.
There are 4 cables connected to the batteries Positive lug now, I have “test run” my 2012 by connecting it with the battery leads from the factory inverter and charger that I just disconnected and AFTER I tripped the breaker that fed them (ie this AC circuit is now isolated). Seems to work fine BUT the battery disconnect switch didn’t function, batteries always hot.
So this suggests there are circuits at play here that I’m not aware of. Full stop! Has anyone done this type upgrade or can share their experience in understanding the Greyhawk electrical systems? Any and all advice is deeply appreciated folks, stay well.
