Melbourne 24K dinette slide?

Anyone who knows what make and type of the dinette slide?

In the Jayco manual there should be a way to manually move the slide in and out in case of problems with the help of a ratchet or drilling machine. Can not find where to attach the ratchet tool?

(I do understand how to manouver the bedroom slide Swinteck.)

It is the same as the bedroom a Schwintek In-Wall slide system. Plenty of videos on the manufacturer’s website or search on YouTube. That is where their videos are hosted. If I remember correctly you disengage the motors and you have to manually push in. I don’t know if you could do it alone and hope I never find out. This is for a 2016 and assume yours is the same. Also maintenance videos there as well.

Hmm. That was not the answer that I expected. There are no typical schwinteck aluminum rails as on the bedroom slide? But I think it is the same manufacturer (Lippert) but the “Electric Through the frame slide-out” if I’m right there should
be a way to retract them manually. See page 34 in following manual.

On my 2016 I have the same aluminum rails on both slide outs.

Jayco must have been changed. I have a 2017 and there are only two rails located on the bottom of the slide. They do not look anything like the rails on the bedroom slide.

Can you post some pictures. Maybe someone will recognize what you have to steer you in the right direction.

After some search I did find the point for manual override. It is located behind the driver seat under the slide. Click image for larger version

Interesting. Hope they didn’t change because of issues with the in-wall system. So far so good for mine.
