Melbourne class-action lawsuit...
Has anyone who's part of class-action fuel emissions lawsuit against Mercedes received a settlement.
Earlier this year, I filled out several pages of details about our 2017Melbourne.
I've heard nothing...

No, I have not received anything either. However, word over on the Sprinter forum is that "Former" owners started receiving their settlement payments this week. Their window to file a claim ended last month. The window hasn't closed yet for us current owners. So, I would assume that those payments will not begin until after that time.

Nothing yet for me either. It will help take the sting out of a $6,600 bill for a new DPF filter for the cargo van.

What is the lawsuit about? I just purchased a used 2017 Melbourne with the Mercedes Chassis and I'm Concerned! Is there a link I can read about this?

Thank you for the info. I guess the 1st step is to find out if the AEM has been installed already! They should be able to tell by the vin# I would think! I guess my thought would be why didn't the RV dealer I just bought this from on 11/1/21 check into this! But I guess why would they care! Thank you very much!

Thanks so much for the info, here. I just checked and the Modification was done by the previous owner on June 6th 2021 so all the updates are done and the warranty is extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles. Wow, this site and the people here are great! Thanks again! Midnightmoon!!!!!

The last 3 vehicles I bought from dealers had a Carfax report that checked off that no outstanding recalls were on the vehicle.

My recollection is that the class action would compensate each original owner of an affected Sprinter chassis RV with around $3,500.
