Melbourne oil crush washer

I have a 2020 Melbourne with the 3.0 diesel and would like to know if anyone knows the size of the oil plug crush washer.
Thank you

I extracted the oil the few times I changed it. I bought a metric assortment from the parts store the first extraction just to see what was left in the pan and if my memory is correct I wasn’t happy with how any of them fit. I don’t know the size but the MB part # is 007603-012102 if that helps you any.

I highly recommend extraction even though the van is easy to get under. When I pulled the plug the first time only drops came out. Transferring dirty oil to a transportable container couldn’t have been easier. You may already know but make sure the o rings on the filter are seated correctly.

Good luck

You might look in to changing out your oil plug to one of these valves. Many businesses have these for their truck fleets and I have been using these for many years and it’s quick and easy ( no wrench needed to change the oil) and no mess to clean up.
Go to eBay and check for your size.

I can back up both of these methods though not on a Melbourne or a Mercedes engine. I use extraction for my small engines and a Fumoto valve on my 8.1 L Sierra. I like both.
