Mercedes lawsuit

Hi all
Don’t know much about this but I noticed something about a recall. We just purchased a 2016 Jayco Melbourne 24 k diesel on a Mercedes frame. Dealer didn’t mention anything about recall. This is our first RV, and of course this sounds bad and needs attention.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks
David7

It mostly a software and sensor update. My 2016 Melbourne and 2013 van are both updated without much noticed difference. There is settlement money if you get the updates but not sure if you or the previous owner qualifies. Here is link with more info.

Thanks to all who responded.
Apparently mine was “corrected” 3-4 weeks ago. My 2016 Melbourne has 12,080 miles on it. Work was done at 12,003 miles. They are doing cash settlements of $2000 to $4000 dollars. I’m not sure if that money is available still. Maybe former owner or dealer submitted a request for a check. I may investigate further.
Just relieved that the recall repair has been done according to the MB national information base.
Thanks so much for all the advice and greetings since joining this forum a week ago.
In the climate of the world, it is nice there are some genuine, non profiteering folks willing to help strangers........just because that is the climate of this “RV world”
First trip is tomorrow. Overnight at KOA 40 miles away.

My appointment for the recall was supposed to be yesterday. But, I had to push it back to the beginning of June due to my schedule. It's good to hear that these units are still running well after the updates.

Only issue I see is with my Scan Gauge. All the x-gauge programs I did don't work anymore any I need to re-calibrate mileage. Throttle response seems to be better or smoother but it could be all in my head.

David7:
We have a 2017 Melbourne 24M.
Love it. 36,000 miles. Smooth engine and transmission. MPG from 9-16.
As for the lawsuit: It's a class action. A few weeks ago, a packet arrived in the mail from a law firm, in Seattle, I think. I filled out paperwork, most of which was just asking for evidence that I owned the vehicle.
The lawsuit charged MB and another firm with selling vehicles that spewed more exhaust than advertised, something like that.
My recollection of what the paperwork said is that each owner of the affected vehicles stands to collect about $3,500.
As for your Melbourne, I urge that you stay on top of recommended services.
