I just went through this with my 2017. When you say it's not working, do you mean no power at all? or does some of the keypad work but not all of it. If you have partial functioning, you can get a new control panel. It's a very easy swap.
If you don't have it out yet, feed the power cord through to the back, then with a helper, unscrew the 4-5 screws holding it up in the top front and drop it down. In my rig it is a Frigidaire, which is really a UNI short for Universal Appliances. Call specialty appliance stores with the model/serial number. I would have thought the size would be universal, perhaps not, but a specialty appliance store has the most knowledge and may be able to get parts even if discontinued.

The transformer is burnt. I can get a new transformer, The display window has a slight burn to it so I don't know if it works or not, the motherboard itself is discontinued

Is there no microwave that has the same dimensions regardless of brand? I don't know if you've ever installed one, but they come with a template that you put against the wall in the back, so you can position the rear support correctly. I install them regularly as I have rentals. Its a pain to have to attach that rear support. If possible, try and place the screw holes in the same location as the old, and if not, then the same plane vertically, thinking you can get into a good support.

Yeah - try to find a residential one that'll come close to fitting. Otherwise, I'd think you're into something much more expensive.

If I recall, residential do not vent like an RV microwave.

The mw in my rig does not mount in the back like a residential one. I replaced mine after a lightning strike 2 years ago with one purchased from Lowes. I reused the brackets on the front that attached it to the cabinet.

The new one vents farther back and I installed a muffin fan in the empty space with a switch to turn it on and vent the me out towards the front vents in the mounting bracket.

I posted a thread with pictures but I can't find it right now. It still works as good as the oe one and it cost less than half to replace.
