Mirror epoxy?

The bathroom mirrors on our 2016 Jayco Greyhawk slid down onto the wood cabinetry door. Because all of the glue didn’t give way, they remarkably did not come off and shatter. We were able to painstakingly detach the two mirrors without breaking them.

I have heard this is not an uncommon problem so I’m sure someone has a tried method! What type of epoxy do you recommend for reattaching the mirrors? Or if you did something other than glue, please share too. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately a fairly common problem for a couple of years.

I believe what others used was a mirror mastic. Locktite makes some.
Home Depot/Lowes/Ace should have a tube.

Both mirrors in my 2017 Greyhawk slid down about 2 inches after about a year. I finally got around to fixing it after contemplating the situation for awhile (read that as procrastination).

The old mirrors came off easily by prying gently with plastic putty knives. The tape they used to secure the mirrors sure didn't stick well to either the mirror or the wood.

After cleaning all surfaces with alcohol, I used good old 1/2 inch 3M VHB tape to hold the mirrors in place. They haven't budged in over 4 years.

I swear by VHB tape and use it all the time. The stuff just works. OK, I am a bit biased since I worked for 3M for 24 years and could get the stuff for free. These days, perish the thought, I am forced to pay for it which I gladly do.

3M set the high bar for Corporate Innovation.
A bar many of us still try to reach.
