Mirrors in or out when covered

For those of you who cover their rv, do you fold in your mirrors or leave them out?

I ask because with the mirrors in there is a lot of extra fabric with my cover (empire covers) and when they are out, the cover flaps in the wind.

I folded mine in.


Do you have tension straps on the cover that can be tightened?

Mirrors in or out when covered

2 keys to get it on right. First, fold in mirrors makes it a lot better. Second, I kris crossed the straps on the end like pic I saw online. I changed it to straight across and it fits nicely now. Thanks for advice.
