Missing AC duct in Seneca cab over

We are looking at a new Seneca 38ts and noticed there is no ceiling AC duct in the cab over like in our current Seneca. We camp in the desert in 100+ heat. Anybody notice this or had air flow issues on the new unit?

How old is your current Seneca? I don't have access to mine right now (in storage) but if I recall correctly there is a ceiling vent just behind the cab, not in it that if aimed properly would blow air into cabover bed.

Our current unit is the 2006 35GS. It has a vent in the cab over area.

The problem I am concerned about is when the curtains are closed for privacy it would block that air flow.

That is how our 2015 36FK is too.

On a side note, our cab-over area where the "one piece fiberglass cap" is - is poorly insulated! When we are out in the Hot Summer places, the overcab is the hardest area to cool with the sun beating down on that cap.

No vent in mine either. I would know, sleeping there right now. I may buy me a piece of flexible drier vent ducting and tape it over the last vent outside the curtain today. You wouldn't think the closed curtain wouldn't make that much difference, but it does.
