Moisture under the bed

2018 29 w Greyhawk just found moisture between mattress and bed frame. Storage under the bed has six batteries for the solar system. No leaks or other sign of moisture anywhere. Presently in Washington state and boondocking mostly. We do get moisture on the windows in the morning and use the propane as little as possible for heat. Any suggestions on how to reduce the moisture would be appreciated.

My thought is with six batteries under bed they generate heat, mattress is sweating warm wood cool mattress need to vent the battery compartment and insulate between the bed frame and batteries

Thanks, learning lots about moisture control. We enjoy winter camping but must make adjustments to protect from moisture. There is also a battery charger in the compartment under the bed so that is generating heat also. Ventilation in the battery compartment and ventilation inside is needed.

This is a problem with any rv that the bed is over a unheated storage area. It's been discussed in every rv forum I have been a member of. Here is your solution.

By the way..it's not your batteries causing this.

Thanks cabinetmaker, similar product was also suggested. I plan to order one of these. Glad to know that the batteries are not contributing to the moisture.

Thanks cabinetmaker for your information. We will be picking up our new 29 MVP next week. I think I will close off the compartment under the bed. Have you seen any plans for doing that work?
