Motorhome cover

My motorhome came with a cover. Now for the question. I am sure it has been covered a lot since I bought it. I have noticed all the aluminum parts on the motor have some oxidation. even the transmission. It's like a light powder. I am wondering if this is caused by it being covered, and not being able to let the moisture out? Any thoughts? Stan

I would say it is either moisture, or if it was in a salt air environment .
