How do I hook my iPhone up to the indash speakers so I can use it for nav?

Any suggestions about pairing the iPhone 3GS to the Bluetooth? I have meticulously followed directions in my manual and all I get is message that says pairing is unsuccessful. Sometimes I get to the point it asks for a password, but I am wondering now if there is a default password built in?

I successfully paired my iphone with the m4-lcd. the password is in the manual. Other than that I won't be any help to you. Sorry!

Usually the password is either "0000" or "1234", but it should be in the manual.
